This course is aimed at individuals with either some or little industry experience who wish to get a thorough grounding in the engineering principles that form the foundations of our industry. This course, combined with Boot camp, will cover almost the complete examination curriculum for the CEDIA EST2 Certification (See Below) as well as applying the theory to real-world situations. The course is built up with existing CEDIA courses in order to, combined with Boot Camp, cover around 90% of the EST2 curriculum.

There will be lots of time during the week for individual questions and topic reviews. There are a maximum of 12 places available on this course. Hours will be from 09.30 to 16.30. From 8.30 to 9.30 the instructor will be available for individual study time, questions and tutoring. Practical sessions are included during the week where we will look at essential skills such as basic audio and video calibration and ADSL Router configuration.

The course generally takes place at CEDIA’s training facility in St Neots. This is centrally located, between Cambridge and Bedford right on the A1.

The EST2 Exam is held on the final day of the week after a revision session and comprises 125 multiple choice questions to be completed in three hours.
