If you or an employee has an accident at work and has not received the appropriate competency training, it could be disastrous for your company. Health and Safety on site is not a desirable requirement, it is essential. Read your legal requirement as an employer or employee with regards to Health and Safety at work.
CEDIA is now an accredited ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) Health and Safety assessment centre, and this one-day course is designed to help attendees understand the necessary site competency skills needed within the industry.
Attendees who successfully pass the ECS Health Assessment will be entitled to apply for the appropriate ECS Card allowing you access to a building site.
The ECS examination consists of 45 generic health and safety questions, which will be selected from a variety of 400. All questions will be randomly selected for each candidate, and cover all aspects of Health and Safety on site. This is controlled by the ECA and may include questions which are not covered in the one day course therefore revision of the booklet is essential.
This comprehensive one-day session will be delivered by specialised Health & Safety Instructors, and will include both classroom instruction and hands-on training.
If you have access to a laptop computer you will need to bring it along to carry out the Health & Safety exam. You will also need to bring your National Insurance Number and any form of picture ID.
Please note, in order to obtain an ECS Home Technology Integrator card, candidates must also hold a valid ESC-T certification.
Full logistics details will be sent out one-week prior to the course commencing via E-Mail.
Attendees of this course qualify for 6 CEU points.
